Mandya Organic Farmers Cooperative Society
Mission: To make Mandya district a fully organic district
Our story
Mandya Organic Farmers Cooperative Society was registered on 22 June 2015 under the Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act. Its single purpose is to convert Mandya district into a fully organic district.
The society's office is at S.I. Kodihalli in Keragodu hobli, Mandya taluk. Farmers are the shareholders and farmers sit on the board. The society currently has 336 shareholders.
The society runs eight services: free training, farm advisory, organic input supply, organic certification, the organic Santhe, produce procurement and sales, and cow and bullock donation. It will open an organic retail outlet on Bannur Road in 2026.

2015
The society was registered on 22 June 2015 under the Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act with registration number 38090:2015-16.
2016
The free monthly organic farming training camp began, held on the first Saturday of each month.
2017
The organic Santhe started in Mandya city, selling directly from farmer to consumer.
2019
The cattle donation programme expanded, distributing livestock to hundreds of member farmers.
2023
The number of farmers certified organic through the society reached 101.
2025
Farmers trained crossed 12,000 and shareholders stood at 336.
2026
Aiming to extend organic certification to every taluk in Mandya district; the organic retail outlet on Bannur Road will open this year and the location is finalized.
