- When and where is the organic Santhe held?
- The organic Santhe is held every Sunday and Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in front of the District Horticulture Department in Mandya city. It is organised by Mandya Organic Farmers Cooperative Society Entry is free.
- How much does membership of the society cost?
- Membership of Mandya Organic Farmers Cooperative Society costs a ₹1,000 share amount plus a ₹150 membership fee, a total of ₹1,150. The prescribed application form and a copy of the Aadhaar card must be submitted with it. The amount is the same for both farmer and consumer membership.
- Is the organic farming training free?
- Yes. The organic farming training run by Mandya Organic Farmers Cooperative Society is completely free. It is held on the first Saturday of every month and non-members may also attend. More than 12,000 farmers have been trained so far.
